83 Hooray For the King (Replace the dialogue over measures 23-27 in Hooray for the King with the following narration.) NARRATOR 1: And then the king said: NARRATOR 2: "It is time to behold My magnificent towering statue of gold." NARRATOR 1: So they pulled back the cover concealing the thing And when the crowd saw they continued to sing. (Reassign the dialogue lines over 75 in Hooray for the King to Narrators 1 and 2.) NARRATOR 1: Shouldn't they be standing? Why aren't they standing? NARRATOR 2: It hasn't been written yet. (Narration after Hooray for the King.) NARRATOR 2: When the King heard the cheers he was still unimpressed, He wanted more praise from the brightest and best. NARRATOR 1: So invites went out on the land and the sea, Requesting all people to RSVP; NARRATOR 2: And nobles streamed in from all parts of the nation To be there in time for the King's dedication. Everyone wHo is Anyone (Replace the lines between measures 12 and 16 of Everyone who is Anyone with the following narration—and cut measures 13-15.) NARRATOR 1: Hold it! (music stops) I'm sorry, I hate to ruin the big entrance, but…what's a satrap? NARRATOR 2: (checking his script) The footnotes say it's "the ruler of a satrapy." NARRATOR 1: Satrapy?
