84 (Narration after Everyone Who is Anyone.) NARRATOR 1: And then at the height of the great celebration A Herald proclaimed this severe proclamation: NARRATOR 2: (as Herald) "Subjects! Listen and obey! All people here from every land Must worship when the music plays, For so our mighty king commands. And all who fail to praise the idol And defy the king's desire Shall be thrown into a blazing Furnace of consuming fire." NARRATOR 1: And just about then with a wave of his hand The music director conducted the band: Proclamation i (Lines after Proclamation I.) NARRATOR 2: And then the King's people were deeply afraid And bowed down and worshipped the thing he had made. NARRATOR 1: Except for our heroes from Judah who knew There was only one God and they had to be true. So they didn't bow down—and at once all could see The only ones standing were our faithful three. NARRATOR 2: Now some in the crowd were enraged at this sight, And they stood up and shouted, NARRATOR 1 "This just isn't right! These people are traitors! They ought to be banned!
