63 Visual To fully enhance your production, the easy-to-use Accompaniment Video is the perfect background complement that displays lyrics in a fun way (visit WordChoralClub.com for a full video preview). The DVD Accompaniment track is available as a physical DVD-Rom 080689678097 or as a digital download 080689811180 through Word Music & Church Resources. BLOCKING & CHOREOGRAPHY Your movement/choreography can be as simple or as advanced as you like. To fully involve the choir, incorporate easy movements or hand gestures in each song. The main actors should be center stage, with the bus stop sign close by. Your other choir members could be positioned on risers behind and to the sides of the main actors. Another option would be to have the additional choir members be "at the bus stop" with the others but standing off to the back and sides during the main scenes and move together for the songs. PROPS • School Bus Sign • School Bus* • Backpacks • Lunch Boxes/Lunch Bags • Watch (for Riley) • Bible (Place in Kelsey's backpack) (We suggest having the scripture locations flagged where she can see, but not the audience, and typed larger and gently taped in place to make it easier to read the scriptures during the musical.) • Large Envelope with "MISSION" written in big letters (envelope should be 5x7 or larger) • Mission typed or written out clearly (and placed in the envelope): Good Morning, Kids. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is Mark 16:15. This mission involves using your unique gifts and talents to share the Good News with people all around you. For more information on what the Good News is, see John 3:16. For more information on how to accomplish your mission, see Ephesians 2:10. *Check with your local appliance store to see if they have a large refrigerator box that they would donate for you to cut out and paint a school bus. If you choose to add additional elements to your bus stop, you can also create these using cardboard, and then paint to decorate them. COSTUME SUGGESTIONS The MISSION: POSSIBLE T-shirt paired with jeans or slacks is the perfect uniform for your children's choir (available through Word Music & Church Resources). The main characters should be wearing normal school attire. They can also wear the MISSION: POSSIBLE T-shirts, along with jackets/sweaters depending on time of year. They should have backpacks, lunch boxes/ lunch bags. Here are a few character specific details to assist your production: Kelsey Backpack with Bible Riley Wristwatch Kris Looks like he dressed in a hurry, maybe messy hair Bus Driver Slacks, button-down shirt with a name tag and possibly a hat. 63 642173-63 For Preview Only
