This marvelous new arrangement of the classic hymn begins with children "oohing" the melody over a quiet piano accompaniment. Their sustained "oohs" continue while the piano takes a verse. Two sung verses are followed by the hymn ending as gently as it began. This tender anthem tells the Parable of the Lost Sheep with beautiful vocal lines in a pleasing meter. The second stanza is a setting of Amazing Grace, which complements the message with "I once was lost, but now am found." The two melodies combine to provide a lovely partner song, reinforcing independent singing in each part.
