(John 1:29) There are appointed times set by God to do business with man and Jesus calls Passover, My appointed time. The Messiah was set to bring us redemption at the appointed hour. Without the shedding of blood there can be no forgiveness for sin. It was the blood of God's only begotten Son that would serve as our atonement. At the beginning of His earthly ministry, Christ presented Himself to John, the Baptist. And when John saw Him, he proclaimed: "Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!" Yes!
