A traditional Sacred Harp melody set with text from
the American Collection of Hymns and Spiritual
Songs, this arrangement is part sacred and part folk
which creates an interesting dynamic and marvelous
teaching opportunities including some advanced
vocal techniques. The verses are largely homophonic
with the refrain allowing voices to have some
wonderful interplay with each other while adding
some body percussion in the way of stomps. Exciting!

Rutter sets an original text to sublime music that
harkens back to his Lord, Make Me An Instrument.
With a focus on light, thanks and creation Rutter
intersperses phrases of Latin text and followed
immediately by their English translation. The vocal
lines are often in unison with minimal SATB writing
and the ranges are very reasonable. A song of
thanksgiving that will be a joy to sing and hear.

setting of the traditional Agnus Dei Latin text
from the Requiem Mass was specifically written
to honor the memory of the numerous victims
of the senseless mass shooting tragedies of the
summer of 2016. With a very open harmonic
texture, almost a cappella with its minimalist piano
accompaniment, this setting weaves between
consonance and dissonance with simple contrary
vocal lines over an insistent single note that tolls
in the piano until all voices combine in meditative,
somber harmony. This piece will evoke a reflective
