37 642173-37 SCENE 3 SETH: Okay, now I understand how this whole mission could be accomplished right where we are. But, I still don't see how I could possibly have anything to contribute to this mission. I just don't know that there's anything special about me. RILEY: It sounds like God made something special about each one of us. What was that last verse in the instructions, Annie? ANNIE: (looks at instructions) Ephesians 2:10. KRIS: Can you read that one again, Kelsey? KELSEY: "For we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do." (NIV) ANNIE: I remember another verse about how God has given each one of us unique gifts to serve others. Kelsey, look up 1 Peter 4:10-11. KELSEY: Okay, here it is. "Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God's grace in its various forms. If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God. If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ." (NIV) RILEY: So if I'm good at talking to people, I should talk to them about Jesus? And if I'm good at helping people, I should just help them somehow? KRIS: I think so. And if I'm good at encouraging someone who might be upset or discouraged, I should do that! ANNIE: Basically, I think God's telling us He knew exactly what He was doing when He created us. And each of us was created to do something that points people to Him. +4 ]28 Song: Made for a Mission with Take My Life and Let It Be Consecrated For Preview Only
