54 642173-54 SCENE 5 SETH: This is all starting to make more sense to me now. It's… kinda cool to think we all have a mission! I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm actually excited to go to school and see how I can accomplish this mission we've been given! RILEY: Agreed! But what we still don't know is who left this envelope for us in the fi rst place! ANNIE: And we also don't know why the bus is so late! KELSEY: Hey, look! Here comes our bus now! Good grief, we ARE going to be late! (The BUS DRIVER "drives" up and stops for the kids, then "gets out of the bus" and talks with them.) BUS DRIVER: Hi, kids! Sorry for the delay. I got a call this morning that my bus was in the shop so I had to go pick it up there before I started my route. I knew I was going to be late, so I left a note for you. Did you get it? KRIS: No, all we got was some note about our mission. BUS DRIVER: Yes, that's the note I left. KELSEY: YOU left this? For us? BUS DRIVER: Yep! I thought it might give you something to think about before you head off to school. I know Monday mornings can be tough sometimes, and you might not realize that every single day, there's a purpose and plan for your life. Every day, there's a reason God has you doing certain things and interacting with people. It's all about your mission—your mission to show love to people and tell them the Good News! RILEY: Well, I did NOT see this coming. SETH: Me either! But thanks! You really opened our eyes to what ordinary kids like us can do every day to serve others and share the Gospel. BUS DRIVER: Well, that's good news, too! Okay, kids, are you ready to get moving? ALL KIDS: Yep! Let's go! (Ad lib…) +6 ]45 Song: Mission Possible (Reprise) For Preview Only
