Living Water—Cathy Moklebust. "Whoever
believes in me, rivers of living water will flow
from within them." In this original composition,
handbells describe a metaphor where faith
starts as a small brook that gradually becomes
deeper and more active as it flows from brook to
stream to a rushing river. Starting with a simple
melody surrounded by quiet, randomly malleted
bells and followed by a gently flowing section of
moving LV bass, the music gradually develops
into a strong, churning section of LV sixteenth
notes. As the piece draws to a close, it returns
to the calmer, gentler sounds of the beginning.
This creative and thoughtful interpretation is
appropriate for concert or worship

Lakey Buckwalter. The American hymn tune
BEACH SPRING has been paired with many
different texts, which makes it useful throughout

to the serenity of the opening. Expressive,
sensitive, and lovely in its simplicity this piece

original material which segues into a more
expansive chordal treatment of the tune
and then ends with a return to the restful
treatment of the opening. Consider this for
Sundays with themes of stewardship, Holy
Trinity, and the Holy Spirit.
