Little Bitty Babe in a Manger
Narrator #2: We come to worship and remember the beau ful Child. For over two-thou-
sand years, ar sts have been inspired to portray the Child's birth, from crude wood carv-
ings and large outdoor displays to the greatest ar s c masterpieces. The baby, res ng on
the hay, while Mary and Joseph lovingly looked on, is a beau ful scene of na vity. We are
naturally drawn to it as we remember the birth of our loved ones. When we hold a baby
in our arms, we wonder who that child will become. As we gaze on the image of the holy
Child, let's pause to reflect on who this Child was, and all He would become.
