Here's a smartly scored version for young jazz ensembles with modest ranges, but with authentic style. Included is plenty of tutti ensemble playing along with short solos (or solis) for any sax or trumpet. With a moderate tempo, a riff-based melody, and non-threatening soloing on the blues progression, this is the perfect introduction to the music of Miles Davis for students and audiences.
