For Preview Only 14 SCENE 2 MORRIS: Here it is! Room 316! (He enters. THEO is behind desk.) THEO: Welcome to the Lost and Found. Fill out the form. MORRIS: THEO: Is this my classroom? (hands MORRIS paper) This is the Lost and Found. Fill out the form. MORRIS: THEO: (looks at paper) I haven't lost anything. Unless you count ME. I'm lost. A lost PERSON? Oh, splendid! You've come to the right place! My name is Theophilus. You can call me Theo. Let's see… where's our Lost Person Form? (Throws papers around; locates form.) Here we go. Your name? MORRIS: Morris. THEO: MORRIS: THEO: MORRIS: THEO: And how did you become lost? I'm lost because I'm… new. New! How exciting. Not exciting! Scary! I've been knocked down by two kids running around like a pair of bulls. I'm pretty sure I saw some bullies. I don't know where I'll sit at lunch. And now I'm lost before my first class! I need more information. Tell me something about yourself, Morris. What's special about you? MORRIS: What's special about me? Nothing, I guess. THEO: MORRIS: THEO: Nothing special? Young man, God has put talents and treasures inside of each one of us. Mr. Theo, I'm capital O Ordinary. No treasures in me. Morris, you're a very hard case. But you're in luck. We specialize in helping lost people become found! We've got all the right tools! (THEO knocks on armor.) MORRIS: CUE METAL KNOCKING S.E. (S.E. TEAM) Are you telling me somebody lost this at school?
