For Preview Only 23 SCENE 2 (cont.) ARMOR: MORRIS: ARMOR: MORRIS: Morris, are you ready to step into the Word? I'm lost. If you think it will help, I'll give it a try. You'll need this. The compass? Okay, thanks! (MORRIS steps through door.) SET CHANGES TO REVEAL BIBLICAL TOWN TOUR GUIDE: During set change, walks to center stage and displays signs: SIGN 1: SCENE CHANGE SIGN 2: SIGN 3: 5 / 23 LAND OF LUKE 15 (gestures to new scenery) APPLAUSE! (steps back to join Scene 3) SONG: WORD REPRISE This music is provided for a scene change from the school to the Land of Luke 15. If necessary, use this time to move your Parable characters into place. This movement will create the appearance of a bustling Biblical town, and allow us to meet the Parable characters prior to their scene. OPTIONS: SHEPHERD: (herds "Bah-bettes" with sheep bell sound effects) LOST SHEEP: (falls behind, and SHEPHERD helps him rejoin flock) LEAH: PRODIGAL: Anybody want lunch? I'm buyin'! A LITTLE DIRECTION: The TOUR GUIDE is a role for one or more students who announce the entrance of the Pharisees and help cover scene change transitions. Help the TOUR GUIDE ham it up when displaying signs, making full use of facial expressions for comic effect. Want more direction? Digital Teacher Resource Kit is available at www.openheartmusicals.com. (crossing with LOST COIN TEAM) I seem to have lost a coin!
