(Hands STUDENT 6 a Bible.) CHOIR: Where do you find your confidence? Where do you find your faith? Who is the friend who seeks you, treasures you, Welcomes you home when you have lost your way? It's great to be the new kid in Jesus Christ! The hope you find in Him will be your guiding light! He will lead you safely through the darkest night! Call on Him; you'll find that it's true: It's great to be new! CHOIR: Who's the new kid? MORRIS: (triumphantly) I'm the new kid! Call on Him; you'll find that it's true: It's great to be new! (SONG ENDS. Pause for applause!) A LITTLE DIRECTION: We've come full circle back to the school! Make sure your students realize that the song is the same as the opening, but the words have changed. Faith changes our perspective. Identical situations look totally different when we rely on Jesus as our compass and our guide. It really is great to be new! Want more direction?
