Narration 6
Narrator 2: And there were shepherds abiding in the field,
Narrator 1: shepherds living, and eating, and sleeping in
the field.
Narrator 3: Strong, sturdy men of the earth, hardworking,
bold, and boisterous men.
Narrator 1: Who will be chosen to see the newborn Savior?
Narrator 2: And lo, an angel of the Lord came round about them.
Narrator 3: Who will be chosen to celebrate His birth?
Narrator 2: And the angel said to them, "Fear not, for I bring
you good tidings of great joy."
Narrator 1: Great joy! Shepherds, you are chosen to celebrate.
Narrator 2: For unto you is born this day in the city of David,
a Savior.
Narrator 1: Yes, a Savior, which is Christ, the Lord.
Narrator 3: Run, shepherds. Run to Bethlehem and find the
Child lying in a manger.
Narrator 1: Run and feel the joy stir in your hearts until it
bursts forth into the night.
Narrator 2: And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising
God for all the things that they had heard and seen.

Narrator 1: Let there be joy on the mountain.
Narrator 3: Singing in the valley.
Narrator 2: Join the holy host of angels shouting:
All: "Christ the Lord is born."
