Narration 1
(There are parts for three narrators, with a preference for narrator
number two being a female.When one narrator adds to, or completes,
a thought begun by the previous narrator, there should be a sense of
connectedness between them, usually with very little space between
the fragments.)
(Begin music. If necessary, the choir may begin singing before the
narration is complete.)
Narrator 1:A voice cries in the wilderness:
Narrator 2: Prepare!
Narrator 3: Prepare the way!
Narrator 1: Prepare the way of the Lord!

Narrator 1: …make straight in the desert a highway
for our God.
Narrator 3:Every valley shall be exalted…
Narrator 2: …and every mountain and hill shall be made low.
Narrator 1:And the glory,
Narrator 2: …the glory,
All: …and the glory of the Lord shall be revealed.
