TAYLOR: I am so excited for the house to be finished!
ALEX: Yeah, this is going to be the perfect Christmas!
MARCUS: Where do you think we're going to put the tree?
TAYLOR: Hmmm… Maybe over there? (Points to a corner of the set)
GABBI: Do you think we'll get extra special presents since the house will be done?
MARCUS: I don't know! Maybe?
(Cut to Parents having a conversation in a separate place, out of earshot of Kids)
DAD: Hey Sara, I've got some bad news.
MOM: Oh no. What is it?
DAD: We've hit a snag with the new shower plumbing and things are going to take a little
longer than expected.
MOM: Oh, that's alright! You know what they say… Everything takes longer than it does! How
much longer?
DAD: Maybe a week?
MOM: That shouldn't be a problem. We were planning for December 1st, so even if
we're a week late, it will still be finished before Christmas.
DAD: Oh thank goodness. (They share a warm embrace, then exit)
