Majestic and regal, this bold medley of the

All My Heart Again Rejoices
arr. Karen L. Buckwalter.
This memorable arrangement begins with
mysterious random ringing as the opening
calm and restful verse of
WAEUM SOLLT ICH is
presented. The middle section then moves
to Angels We Have Heard On High and then
eventually back again to a peaceful ending of
the first hymn with a return of soft, random
ringing. Perfect for Christmas Eve or a quiet
moment in a Christmas concert.

Angels from the Realms of Glory
Christ is Made the Sure Foundation
arr. Mark Arnold.
Techniques abound in this setting of the Christmas
favorite as mallets, marts and shakes add
excitement to the traditional
REGENT SQUARE
tune. An opening fanfare is followed by verses in
several styles, including a laid-back "groove" and
a contrasting handchime section, before driving to
a rousing conclusion. Ringers and audiences will
enjoy this creative and fun arrangement!

Bogoroditse Devo
Rejoice, O Virgin Ave Maria
Sergei Rachmaninoff/arr. Cathy Moklebust.
Part of Rachmaninoff's All-Night Vigil, opus
37, also known as The Vespers, this work
is characterized by its serene yet rich tone.
Voices are carefully layered to create a sense of
spiritual depth and tranquility, offering listeners a
transcendent experience. Since the work centers
in the bass and lower treble, alternate assignments
are given, and it may be played by handbells,
handchimes, or a combination of the two.
Although it is generally associated with Christmas,
it can be performed and appreciated year-round in
both sacred and concert settings.

Christmas & Holiday | New Advent & Christmas for Large Ensemble
For an effective opening to an Advent
service, use O Come, O Come Emmanuel
from Cynthia Dobrinski's Two Easy
Seasonal Processionals (3212263). This
piece can be taught by rote. Start with
singing bells on E's and B's surrounding the
sanctuary; use chimes on the chords that
repeat throughout. The two bell trees can
process or be stationary. Add a low E on
the organ and wow — instant goosebumps.
