JONAH: All right, all right. It's my fault. I worship the Lord, the God of Heaven, the
One who made the oceans and the dry land.
ALL: (awed, leaning away from JONAH) Oooo.
JONAH: And the Lord asked me to do something, and I tried to run away.
ALL: (scared) Ohhhh!
SAILOR 5: What do we gotta do to stop the storm?
JONAH: I'm afraid you have to throw me overboard.
ALL: Ow.
SAILOR 6: Wow. That's harsh.
JONAH: Tell me about it.
(The SAILORS move back to rowing positions.)
STORYTELLER 5: The sailors didn't really want to toss Jonah into the sea so, instead, they
tried to row the boat back to land.
