pocket! There's nothing like a straight-ahead, medium blues
chart for teaching the essential elements of jazz playing. Bacon
Suite Blues has it all: a strong melody, solid ensemble writing,

included solo sheets. There's a soft ensemble section after the
solos that builds to a wonderful shout and then a trombone

with, followed by tight ensemble playing and later space for
an improvised or written trombone solo. This chart is cool,
